Bohme is the German word for bohemian. There are many definitions for bohemian. My favorite describes a bohemian as a person who has informal and unconventional social habits, especially an artist or writer. A little secret about me–I am pretty unconventional myself and many of the people in my life are as well. Because of this, writing a series about people who live this way came naturally to me. The characters in these books are a part of me, just as I hope others will find a piece of themselves in them.

I have been asked before if the Bohme is a real place. It is not a real place as in there is a group of free spirits known as the Bohme, but there are many bohemians that I have met in my life.

I am excited to see where this group of characters takes me and it is my hope to write many more to come.
